CalculatorCafe is a free calculator platform with over 600 tools covering currency conversion, personal finance, mathematics, health and fitness, construction, education, technology, astrology, cryptocurrency, time and date, betting, and weather. The site is designed for speed, clarity, and accuracy across all devices.

We launched CalculatorCafe because most calculator websites feel like they were built in 2005 and never updated. Slow load times, confusing layouts, aggressive pop-ups, and results buried under walls of text. We thought people deserved something better, so we built it.

What makes us different

No account required. Every tool on CalculatorCafe works instantly without registration, email verification, or any form of sign-up. Open the page, enter your numbers, get your answer.

Live data where it matters. Our currency converters pull mid-market exchange rates from the ExchangeRate API and refresh every 15 minutes. Cryptocurrency prices come from CoinGecko on the same schedule. When you convert USD to EUR or check the current Bitcoin price, you are seeing rates from a recent fetch, not yesterday's snapshot.

Transparent formulas. Financial tools like our mortgage calculator, compound interest calculator, and loan amortization tools use standard industry formulas. Health calculators reference established equations including the Mifflin-St Jeor formula for calorie estimation and the standard BMI formula endorsed by the WHO. We do not use proprietary or modified formulas, and we do not hide how calculations work.

Privacy by default. A portion of our calculators (BMI, calorie, age, percentage, body fat, birth chart, and a number of other math and health tools) run entirely in your browser, so the numbers you type never leave your device. Most other tools, including paycheck, US tax, mortgage, and all currency or crypto converters, submit your inputs to our server for processing because the calculation logic or live rate data lives there. In either case we do not save your inputs to a database, do not build user profiles based on your calculations, and do not sell data to third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Built for every screen. Whether you are on a desktop at work, a tablet on the couch, or a phone on the bus, every calculator adapts to your screen size. Buttons are large enough to tap. Input fields are easy to read. Results are displayed clearly without requiring you to scroll past unrelated content.

These tools help contractors and DIY builders estimate quantities and costs before starting a project. Enter your measurements, and the calculator tells you how much material to order.

Health (50+ tools): BMI calculator, calorie calculator, body fat estimator, due date calculator, period tracker, macronutrient calculator, A1C calculator, ASCVD risk score, and others. Each tool includes context about what the results mean and when to consult a healthcare provider.

Technology (35+ tools): IP address lookup, password generator, hash generators (MD5, SHA1, SHA256), Base64 encoder and decoder, JWT decoder, character counter, regex tester, JSON formatter, and other developer utilities.

How we operate

CalculatorCafe is run by a small, independent team. We are not affiliated with any bank, brokerage, insurance company, hospital, or university. We do not accept sponsored placements inside our calculator results, and we do not adjust outputs to favor any product or service.

The site is funded through display advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads appear in designated areas of the page and are clearly separated from calculator content. We do not run pop-ups, interstitials, or auto-playing video ads.

We are based in the United States, and the site is hosted on infrastructure optimized for global performance through Cloudflare.

Accuracy and limitations

We take accuracy seriously. Our calculators use standard, well-documented formulas, and currency rates are sourced from reputable data providers. That said, no online calculator is a substitute for professional advice.

Financial calculators produce estimates based on the inputs you provide. They do not account for fees, taxes, or market conditions that a financial advisor would consider. Health calculators use general population formulas that may not apply to every individual. Construction estimators give approximate quantities; verify them with a contractor before ordering materials. Currency rates are mid-market reference rates and may differ from the buy or sell rates offered by banks or transfer services.
